Paid off the Hertford in New Zealand. My son Daniel also came out from England
on the Rangitata aged 6 weeks.
Worked for Auckland Harbour Board and then Ports of Auckland as a marine rigger.
The Harbour Master Captain Varney was a Prince of Wales Old Boy.
My brother Terrance Doughty also attended Prince of Wales Sea Training School.
Now that I'm retired I'm enjoying messing around on the computer.
