First ship was one of New Zealand Shipping Companies 'The
Westmorland' in Liverpool bound for the Kiwi Coast which I had an accident on
from a wire parting that put me in hospital for six months not a bad start. I
shipped out with all major shipping companies and finally joined the RFA in 1973
where I have remained till this day. I have been a Boson for the last 23 years.
Not too many more trips to do before I retire.
