Roy Gillham Discharge book issued
20.12 1950 at Victoria Docks, so was at PWSTS for the previous 6 (or was it
3 then) months. Left the school with Taff Wilcox(PO) and others and joined
the Orcadies, staying at sea until August 1960 with a break midway for a
spell in the RAF spent mainly in Hong Kong as a WOP . Shipped out of
Tilbury for convenience really but have very good memories of both my time
at sea and the ships company and time at the PWSTS (Ingham of course)
though names and faces do tend to fade a little over time.
Live in Whitstable, now retired.
