I attended PWSTS in august 1966.

After graduating I sailed with NZSC on the good ship Hinakura from Late 1966 to 1968. I then moved to the Royal Mail joining the Loch Loyal for one voyage in 1968. From there I joined OCL where I remained for six years sailing on all the vessels that they had at that time.

I worked my passage to Australia in 1974 on the Moreton Bay & joined the Port Jackson & Manly Steamship Co as a deckhand.
