Joseph Nelson A tribute by John Nelson
** This page is under construction by the family ** My father was born in Belfast and ended up in Orphanage and Foster Care.
I understand he was accepted into the school in 1936 and I
note in your records of August 1936 a J Nelson, Belfast as deck boy on the
Windsor Castle. I have attached an old family photograph which has 1936
written on the back and taken in Stepney Studios 118 Commercial Rd. I
would be pleased to know if you have any further information as I am
trying to piece together his Merchant Navy days.
