I am a former
student of the Prince of Wales Sea training school. I was in the 1968
Derwent class May - Sept. After completing my training I joined the P&O
Lines and sailed on the SS Oriana. In the fall of 1969, I returned to my
home in Vancouver, BC. Canada. I continued on with my college education
and in 1973 I joined the Canadian Coast Guard. I am currently completing
my 30th year with the Coast Guard and my position is Supervisor of all
Lifeboats Stations on the Pacific Coast. I would be very interested to
maintain a regular contact from former students at the school.
Profile updated 11 April 2010 - I
have just retired from my position as Supervisor Coast Guard Stations
Pacific, of the Canadian Coast Guard after 35 years service.
