I was a Stores Accountant Able Seaman and Ships Diver in the Royal Navy onboard HMS Plymouth for most of my service. She was the first ship to engage in enemy action at South Georgia in 1982 and was hit by enemy aircraft in the Falkland Islands on 8th June 1982. I left the RN prior to becoming a clearance diver. Yep, I miss the sea.

It would be great to get in touch with old school mates. The only name I can recall is "Pounder". Also one guy who ended up on QE2 can't remember his name though. I will enter my name and some of the ships I served on with BP Tankers and career to date when I get a chance. Great memories returned when I came across the website.

For some reason I recall more of when I returned to Dover to attend South Kent college of technology in 1972 to write my City and Guilds exam. Wild times, girls and clubbing in Deal. The pub at the bottom of the hill from PWSTS!

Country boy first time away from the village of two pub's, shop and police officer that would tip the landlord off if the near towns police where doing checks then his hat and coat would come off, then down a pint [free of course]. Still miss the sea life, the great times at Dover and the travel.
