I was at PWSTS in 1949 from May to November Joined New Zealand Shipping Co Sailed on the following ships:

s/s Tongariro Aug 1953 to Dec 1954
m/s Rangitata Feb 1955 to Oct 1955
m/v Hurunui Mar 1956 to April 1957
m/s Rangitane Dec 1958 to Aug 1957

Fell from a Samson Post on Rangitane in Caracas Bay Curacao fracturing both heels etc etc, spent time in the KGV Seamans Hospital. Spent several months convalescing eventually becoming a librarian at Northamptonshire County Library, then did various things. Emigrated to New Zealand in 1964 currently a semi retired artist living in Birkenhead Auckland.
