PWSTS 31 July 1953 to 9 October 1953.

Served time on deck several companies. Attained NZ H/T certs as 1/M then attained 2/M FG 1960 and Master FG 1966. Was a ships Master for 35 years in General cargo vessels/Ro/Ro/NZ Rail Ferries/VlCC's/Bulk Carriers before retiring was Master in small product tankers trading New Guinea and Pacific Islands for my last four years at sea. I retired in January 1953.
